Who had a booth at the Lauderdale Boat Show this year? If so, what was your opinion of the show and attendance. I manage Marina Bay here in Fort Lauderdale and found the show to be fairly succesful. Although attendance was down, I found that the quality of the attendees more favorable. It seems the big drop in attendance was the family crowd that go for a day out. The ratio of boaters and potential boaters compared to sightseerers was substantial. I have only been manager of Marina Bay for about four months, however, my dock master and assistant dock master, who have been at the marina for a few years, felt our contact with potential customers was much better than last year --- we ended up with about 75 leads.
